Internship placements:
Wellspace MKE is current accepting graduate students for internship placements. Ideal candidates are students in Master's Level Program for Counseling.
Responsibilities as a Counseling Intern Include:
• Perform initial evaluations of clients
• Meeting with individuals, couples, families, and groups to build rapport and guide them through their problems
• With support of the supervisor build treatment plans and diagnose clients
• Educate clients on stressors and coping mechanisms.
• Provide individuals with the resources needed to assist with reaching personal goals.
• Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed.
*Other duties as assigned.
